
The Boone girls’ tennis team won on the road Tuesday, August 18, sweeping Saydel, 9-0, in varsity action and winning every singles and doubles match.
At No. 1 singles, Maiya Phanchantraurai set the tone with a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
Kaylee Kuehl followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, while Livi Schneider earned a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 3.
Claire Hardinger won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles, Olivia Conlin posted a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5, and Harper Kuehl completed the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6.
The Toreadors carried that momentum into doubles play.
The No. 1 team of Kaylee Kuehl and Schneider cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
At No. 2 doubles, Phanchantraurai and Hardinger also recorded a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Boone’s No. 3 team of Conlin and Harper Kuehl completed the sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 decision.
