Boone Mayor Elijah Stines talks about the Boone City Council meeting held Monday. Stines reported a fairly quick meeting. A Public Hearing was held on a project to rehabilitate the Ground Storage Reservoir at the Water Treatment Plant. Bidding will be the next step. Stines noted that several engineering contracts were awarded to SEH for development of plans for projects at Boone Water Works, including a new transmission main to run on the northside of the city to the Boone Industrial Park.
