BOONE, Iowa—Governor Kim Reynolds on Wednesday announced the swimming pools would be permitted to reopen for lap swimming and swimming lessons. The Boone Parks Commission decided to hold a special meeting Thursday evening at 6:00 to consider the lifted restrictions. Since then, the Parks Department has received inquires about attending the meeting which will be in the Parks Office, but would be limited to no more than 10 participants. Because of the interest, a telephonic link is being established for the meeting to allow the public a chance to hear the discussion.
