Boone Police Chief John Wiebold is on the program and reviews some of the data from 2024. He noted the number of arrests have declined, while the number of calls were up in the past year. He said the big increase appears to be more calls for medical assistance. He also announced that signup will begin today for the Boone Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy.
