BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Water Environment Station at McHose Park reported the official snowfall amount for the city at 6.7″ of snow in the past 24 hours. It was a wet snow, with the moisture content at .58″. Some of the other reporting locations in the county had significant snowfall as well. 5.3″ at a reporting site at Madrid, 5.9″ southeast of Ogden and 6.6″ near Pilot Mound.
