BOONE, Iowa—Last week the Boone School District past along the Public Release for Schools Operating the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. Superintendent Julie Trepa said that some parent may have skipped the sign-up during registration, but she encourage parents complete the sign-up, even if they will not qualify. She says the numbers are important for securing eligibility for other federal programs.
