BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Veterans’ Council presented the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Veterans Monument at the Linwood Park Cemetery Tuesday morning. There were a number of Veterans, family members and other community members that turned out for the annual recognition. The featured speaker was Boone native, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Steve Stumbo.
