The Boone Toreadors battled in a Raccoon River Conference matchup Tuesday, September 23, but came up short against Bondurant-Farrar, falling 0-3 on the road.
Jenna Johnson led the offense with 10 assists.
Madelyn Davidson and Delaney Good each recorded 4 kills, with Davidson also contributing 1 block at the net.
Karsyn Smith anchored the defense with 6 digs, while Taylor Arringdale and Delaney Good added 4 digs apiece.
Smith and Tria Hoyle each served up an ace, with Smith going 5-for-6 and Hoyle 8-for-10 from the service line.
The Bluejays improved to 8-9 overall and 2-1 in conference play, while Boone dropped to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
Boone will look to bounce back as it hosts the Boone Invite on Saturday, September 27, beginning at 9 a.m. at Boone High School.
The tournament will feature a competitive field including Knoxville, Ames, Fort Dodge, and Forest City.
