BOONE, Iowa—Unofficial elections results from Tuesday’s General Election show that Boone residents did not support a proposed bond issue that would have provided a portion of the funding for a recreational complex. There were 3,294 No votes and 3,071 Yes votes. The bond issue would have have required a 60% majority.
