The Boone Toreadors boys’ wrestling team had two runners-up and finished 7th overall with 107 points at the Mendenhall Invite in Ames on Saturday, January 10.
Ajay Braddock finished 2nd with two pins and a tech fall at 132.
Brody Warrick recorded a tech fall and a pin and also finished 2nd at 165.
Trent Eckard had a tech fall, a major decision and two pins as he secured 3rd place at 175.
Easton Landas recorded two tech falls and a pin, claiming 4th place at 106.
Owen Thomas had two pins in the consolation bracket, finishing 6th at 150.
Mason Oostenink opened with a first‑period pin and battled his way to 8th place at 120.
Tate Hollenkamp used a tech fall and a major decision to push his way to 8th place at 144.
