BOONE, Iowa—The Fire Chiefs in Boone County have agreed to rescind the Burn Ban effective immediately. The Fire Chiefs in Boone County submitted the request which went into effect on October 10th. After rain this week and rain expected over the weekend, and the fact that most harvest activity has been completed, led to the today’s decision by the Fire Chiefs.
