The Boone Fire Department has issued a limited scope Open Burning Permit. Open burning of trees and rubbish will take place as part of a County Drainage repair/rebuild in West Boone around the Walters Sanitary location. This permit is valid for 3 weeks so the contractor can perform the burning during acceptable weather days. The Boone Fire Department will be working closely with the contractor to monitor the burning. This is only for burning to be done for this specific project.
