Carly Busch sprinted her way to a 7th-place finish in the 200-meter dash for the Boone girls’ track team at the Iowa Girls and Boys State Track and Field Championships Saturday, May 24, at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
Busch clocked in at 25.47 seconds in the final.
The Boone girls’ sprint medley relay team — made up of Taylor Arringdale, Mia Graeve, Avery Howie, and Busch — also competed, finishing 12th overall with a time of 1:49.83.
