Carol Kleckner

KWBG 03/27/24

BOONE, Iowa—Carol Kleckner, 65, of Boone, IA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. She was born September 19, 1958, to Bernard and Betty (Francis) Kleckner.

She attended Osage Community High School Class of 1977. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the American Legion. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Rick and Tom Kleckner; and niece, Lisa Krebsbach.

She is survived by her children Cody (Jeri) Kleckner of Boone, IA; April (Donnie) Strom of Brookings, SD; grandchildren, Ian and Izabella Kleckner; siblings: Duane (Maureen) Kleckner, Diane (Gary) Krebsbach, and Larry (Diane) Kleckner; and many nieces and nephews.
