Boone Area Veterans Center, Mike Gibbs and Fred Greiner are on hand to talk about the brief history of the project. Members of Boone Veteran organizations have actually talked about the idea for over ten years. Gibbs explained that once they decided to move forward they began searching for a site, working with the City and Chad Houston of Kruck Plumbing and Heating, they finally got a location. Demolition took place and now fund raising for the building project is getting underway. Fred Greiner is chairing that committee. Aired Monday, February 17, 2025.

He also has updates on athletic programs including some of the new things that are taking place such as e-sports, track and field, basketball, both baseball and softball and dance. McGinn also updates the work being done to host the NJCAA DII Women's Golf Tournament to be played in Boone in May. Aired on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Boone Police Chief John Wiebold on Tuned In talks about the snow removal and the fact that about thirty vehicles had to be towed. The Snow Ordinance was in effect in Boone for both residential and business district streets at 10:00 Wednesday evening. He encouraged people to continue getting signed up for the text notification and also spread the word to neighbors. He also talked about people applying to take part in this year’s Citizen Police Academy. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 21st. Aired Thursday, February 13, 2025.

A current project is to try and conduct interviews with veterans willing to share their stories about serving in Viet Nam. Board Member Ron Russel is working on the project.
