Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about the past two Council meetings. He took time to review the Special Meeting held on Tuesday, January 14th for the city's budget. Stines noted that things went smoothly with some projected revenues expected in the next year associated with the Daisy project. He also noted for the next fiscal year a positive balance on Local Option Sales Tax receipts even with all departmental requests being met. Aired Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines is expecting bitterly cold wind chills for much of Iowa tonight. The coldest temperatures and wind chills will be across northern Iowa. The coldest conditions are expected overnight tonight.
