Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about the recent Boone City Council meeting. He says it was announced the Holly Stecker will be the Main Street Director. He also reported that Kris Blocker presented information on the amount of tourism dollars generated in Boone County. Stines also noted the Council approved by resolution a form to be used for those seeking to plant trees on city parking. He also said the Council did approve the second reading of an ordinance prohibiting the feeding of deer in the city. The Council also voted 5-1 to extend open burning until November 27th. Erickson is cast as Dr. Dorothy Watson. She also talks about auditions for Seussical coming up this Friday and Saturday. Erickson will be one of three teaming up to direct the production.
