Eli Stines, Boone Mayor, talks about the Boone City Council meeting Monday. The Council did received an updated Housing Needs Assessment done by Mid-Iowa Planning Alliance. The last Housing Needs Assessment was done in 2023. The most recent report shows improvement in numbers but there’s still a need for more housing to meet both lower and higher lever earners. The Mayor also talked about moving ahead and rebidding the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Projects. Aired Tuesday, July 08, 2025.
