Ondrea Elmquist, Boone City Administrator, talks about wrapping up the fiscal year and getting ready to move forward with projects planned for the new fiscal year, begins next Tuesday. She says some projects overlap the fiscal year, like work being done at the both the Water Works and the Water Environment Station. The city started infrastructure improvements at both plants in the past year and are expected to be completed in the new fiscal year. She said additional improvements tied to the Daisy Project are already getting underway. On the economic development side, she says the city is seeking developers that will focus on single family “affordable” housing. Aired Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Joshua Heyer, Superintendent, Ogden Community School District, talks about the June School Board meeting and what’s going on for the school district this summer. At the June School Board meeting, the Board received an update from architects from FRK on the facilities master plan. A meeting including Board Members is planned for this summer. Staffing is pretty well set for the next school year, but there are still a number of support staff positions remaining.
