He also talked about bring forward the force main project that would transport leachate to the Boone sewer system rather than filling the transport truck and taking it to the sewer plant. Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about the recent Boone City Council meeting. A plan to sell a parcel of property was pushed back when a second bid was received for the property. Stines said the council will accept sealed bids then hold a second public hearing for the sale of the property. He also talked about a deer survey done by the police department with their drone. The deer count was 81 confirmed deer, south of first street between South Marion Street and South Marshall.
