Nate Osmundson, Boone Rec Director talks about Nights on the Green. The first one of the year will be Friday, May 2nd. He talks about what’s coming up for the rest of the season. The July Night on the Green will be the second Friday because of the July 4th Holiday. Nights on the Green end in September. Osmundson did say that Kris Blocker of Visit Boone County has a new activity that will be announced soon. Zach Stier, Ronda Kelley and Candy Noelck from the Ericson Public Library talk about programs as they wrap up April and move into May. The past couple of years, the library has supported informing the public about Mental Health Awareness and this year they will participate with proclamations for the City of Boone and Boone County Supervisors the first week in May. By the end of the month, the campaign to get people signed up for the Summer Reading Program will be in full swing. Aired Friday, April 25, 2025.

They visit about the work that’s gone into the first ever National Championship event held in Boone County. Blocker talked about the number of businesses and individuals that have stepped up to help with sponsorships.
