He points out there are other landfills in the state going through the same challenges. Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about the past two Council meetings. He took time to review the Special Meeting held on Tuesday, January 14th for the city’s budget. Stines noted that things went smoothly with some projected revenues expected in the next year associated with the Daisy project. He also noted for the next fiscal year a positive balance on Local Option Sales Tax receipts even with all departmental requests being met. Aired Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
