BOONE, Iowa—State Senator Jesse Green picked 9,171 votes in Boone County Tuesday in his effort to return for another term in the Iowa Senate. Challenger Margaret Liston received 5,557 votes. Senate District 24 also includes Green and Guthrie Counties and portions of Dallas and Story Counties.

BOONE, Iowa—Boone County voters have decided to return Erich Kretzinger to the Boone County Board of Supervisors. Kretzinger collected 8,076 votes in the unofficial returns released Tuesday evening. BOONE, Iowa—Unofficial elections results from Tuesday’s General Election show that Boone residents did not support a proposed bond issue that would have provided a portion of the funding for a recreational complex. There were 3,294 No votes and 3,071 Yes votes. The bond issue would have have required a 60% majority.
