Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about Boone City Council Meeting. He talked about the Proclamations at the beginning of the meeting, the first for Economic Development Week this week and Mental Health Awareness Month this month. He talked about the Urban Chicken Ordinance which the Council tabled and referred to the Policy, Administration and Employee Relations Committee. Stines says he hopes the Council can take action at their first meeting in June. Aired Tuesday, May 07, 2024.

Michele Jacobson and Christopher Levi for Boone Community Theatre. Michele talks about the Youth Theatre productions being done this summer and the weekly theatre workshops that are planned. Both speak about the recent season that concluded with Don Quixote de la Center. Still no official announcement on the next season, but expected soon. Aired Monday, May 06, 2024

She talks about projects supported by the Foundation like "Project Be the Light" and the ongoing efforts to raise funds to support the new program. She also said the Hospitals Summer Food Program for youth will continue this summer. Aired Friday, May 03, 2024.
