Susie Thorngren, Boone Park Board Member talks about Dead Tree Removal Day this Thursday in Herman and McHose Parks. A half dozen local tree care companies will donate time, staff, and equipment to remove dead trees. Many have created safety issues. Thorngren gives details about what will happen. Schafer is making many items available for the Dragoon display at the History Center. The Free will be Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the Historical Center. Aired Friday, September 27, 2024.

Bill Skare, City Administrator and Nathan Osmundson, Recreation Director for the City of Boone are guests. Osmundson talks about the connections he's made since beginning his position in August. He talks about facilitating some of the activities different groups are interested in, including Seniors. Skare provides updates on a number of projects including the Story Street project, some of the housing projects and plans to apply for a RISE Grant with the Iowa DOT in October for access to Daisy. Aired Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
