He also talks about the hearings related to the commercial and residential development in the works by Hunziker Development of Ames on the east side of South Marshall Street. He explained that one business owner in the R.L. Fisher Business Park spoke against the rezoning. The Council also approved updating the contract with U.S. Water for operation of both the Boone Water Works and Water Environment Station. The contract update will allow the use of State Revolving Loan proceeds for planned projects at both plants. Aired Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
