Ryann Shipley, DMACC Honors Program, Bonnie Rozenberk, President of the In My Boots Student group, and Sean Taylor, DMACC Professor and Veteran talk about the up coming In My Boots 5K. Taylor started the project 10 years ago to draw attention to veterans issues, in particular the suicide rate. It also ties to suicide incidents locally involving DMACC. March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month and Rice has proclamations recognizing the problem, including one from the Boone County Supervisors. Community and Family Resources does have an increasing number of people making contact about gambling related problems. Aired Monday, March 11, 2024.

A decision was made to use a firm to assist with a search for a new CFO. The tax asking for the next fiscal year was approved and will result in an increase in the levy rate. One of the planned projects will be underway soon, upgrading the MRI is proceeding. Aired Thursday, February 29, 2024.
