He talks about the kick-off activity with the Downtown Trunk or Treat event on October 24th. The Police and Fire Departments expected to cook up a thousand hot dogs. He also talked about Halloween Safety and talks about getting signed up for Snow Ordinance Notification. Aired Thursday, October 17, 2024.

John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Recycling. Roosa talks about yard waste brought to the landfill, especially with the Burn Ban in effect. He says yard was can be brought to the landfill at no charge on Thursday, Friday and Saturday during business hours. There is a charge Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. He also talked about revamping the business recycling collection program. Aired Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
