The Ogden boys’ basketball team beat Glidden-Ralston, 62-52, Thursday, February 6, at Glidden in non-conference play. 

Cadence Heggen of Boone upset No. 1 seed Halley Beaudet from Dallas Center-Grimes on Friday, February 7, to advance to the Class 2A 190-pound championship match at the girls’ state wrestling tournament at Xtream Arena in Coralville. 

Rylin Casey, Sydney King and Grace Hammer all competed for the Ogden girls’ wrestling team at the state wrestling tournament on Thursday, February 6, at Xtream Arena in Coralville. 

The Madrid girls’ basketball team beat Ogden, 40-23, in West Central Conference play Tuesday in Ogden. 

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released regional basketball pairings for Class 1A, 2A and 3A. 

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Wrestling Tournament begins Thursday, February 6, at Xtream Arena in Coralville and will continue on Friday, February 7. Boone and Ogden both had 3 girls qualify for state.

Six players scored double figures for the Class 1A, No. 2, Madrid boys’ basketball team as the Tigers beat Ogden, 100-30, Tuesday, February 4, in Ogden in West Central Conference action. 

The Ogden boys’ wrestling team had two individuals place at the Charger Invitational Saturday, February 1, at Adair.
