Boone County Cattlemen gathered at TK’s Event Center on Tuesday evening for their annual banquet.
After reviewing 2018 activities and recognizing The Beef Queen and Princesses, the group got down to the real business of the night: auctioning the Beef Trophies for the 2019 Boone County Fair. With the sale of 20 trophies, $22,500 was raised.
In 2019, The Cattlemen will award ten $1000 scholarships to Boone County youth.
