BOONE, Iowa—Lt. James Beardsley, Pastor and Corp Officer for the Salvation Army Boone Corp says that the 2018 Christmas Assistance Sign-up will end on Friday. The annual sign up serves many families from Boone County with a holiday meal and gifts. Sign-up is being held at the Salvation Army in Boone at 503 Benton Street, Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Additional applications will not be taken after 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
