BOONE, Iowa—The City of Boone has announced that the City Hall Auditorium will be available as a cooling location Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. City Administrator Bill Skare released an email statement that says:
“In anticipation of high temperatures over the next few days: the City of Boone will have the Auditorium at City Hall open for those citizens needing some relief from the heat.
The hours will be Tuesday, July 27th from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 28th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.”
