BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Council will be discussing a bill the city has received from the State Auditor’s Office for the special audit conducted on the operations of the Boone County Historical Society. The audit was requested by the City of Boone in 2018 and was released earlier this summer. The bill from the Auditor’s office amounts to $20,000.
