BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangement for 63 year old Clair C. Erickson of Boone, Iowa. He passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 18, 2022, at his home in Boone, Iowa.

Clair Charles Erickson, son of LaVerne and Carolyn (Johnson) Erickson was born on September 10, 1958 in Boone, Iowa. He graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1977. Following graduation, Clair went to work for the family business at L&C Homes where he was a salesman.
On February 14, 1987, Clair married Dana Jurgensen at Bethel Church in rural Boone. The couple resided in Ogden before moving to North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Clair loved his dogs and also loved cooking, reading, nature, and going to concerts. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Clair was preceded in death by his parents and his faithful pup friend, Chili Pup.
Survivors include his daughter, Whitney (Jeffrey) Erickson-Regan of West Point, NE; his son, Jordan Erickson also of West Point, NE; two brothers, Chris (Bryan) Erickson of Des Moines, and Curt (Natalie) Erickson of Boone; two grandchildren, Gabrielle D. Erickson and Levi X. Crail; former wife, Dana Erickson of Des Moines; his ever-loyal friend, Linda Nichols of Jefferson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
