Roosa visits about some of the work being done to try and extend the life of the Boone County Landfill. Recently, the Boone County Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with WHKS Engineering to develop plans, bid and oversee the construction of a force main to move leachate from the landfill to the Boone Wastewater Plant. Roosa also talked about some of the issues that have developed due to the costs of waste being accepted at the landfill.
