He reviews the Councils split decision to provide additional funds to the Boone Fire Department for the Part-Time Salaries budget line. He says the move will help provide additional personnel during busy call times rather than use call back of fulltime firefighters. The Council also approved a property exchange at the airport with the Iowa National Guard. The exchange will allow the Guard to expand facilities and address their growing programs and operations.
