BOONE, Iowa—Construction work by the Union Pacific Railroad at the Greene Street crossing Tuesday has closed that crossing to regular traffic. While that work is underway, Boone Public Works is also make some needed repairs to storm water intakes at Greene and 9th Street. It’s now expected that the crossing will not reopen until sometime on Wednesday, July 11th.
