Coon Rapids-Bayard handed the Ogden baseball team a 10–5 loss in non-conference baseball action Wednesday, June 3, at Coon Rapids-Bayard High School.
Treyton Mitchell collected two hits while scoring a run, drove in another, and added a stolen base.
CeJay Jones chipped in with a hit and an RBI, while Ryder Hamil provided a double and drove in a run.
Andy Fitzsimmons also contributed with a hit and an RBI.
On the mound, Brody Burdette was charged with the loss.
Thomas Bergstrom struck out four batters in relief.
The undefeated Crusaders improved to 7–0 on the season with the win while the Bulldogs fell to 4–5.
The Bulldogs will return to action tonight, traveling to face another unbeaten opponent in Pleasantville (9–0) in a West Central Activities Conference doubleheader.
