County Foundation Grant Application Deadline February 6th

BOONE, Iowa— The Boone County Community Foundation reminds all 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, 107b unit of government and any potentially qualifying nonprofit civic organizations operating for the benefit of Boone County that the 2026 grant application deadline of 4 pm on February 6th is drawing near.

The Boone County Community Foundation has received a $148,961 state award for countywide grantmaking and endowment building.  The payment is a result of legislation (House File 2302) passed in 2004 by the Iowa General Assembly. $111,721 will be available for grantmaking in 2026 and $37,240 has been placed in the permanent endowment.

The Boone County Community Foundation is pleased to utilize an upgraded on-line application process this year The application and information is now available for online grant application.
