BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Secondary Roads will be working, weather permitting, on 188th Road. The announcement on Wednesday noted that county personnel will be excavating the ditches and raising the roadway surface on 188th Road, from L Avenue west to 192nd Street. The road will be closed to thru traffic, but access for local residents living in this area and emergency response vehicles will be maintained. Please use caution if you need to travel on 188th Road during this construction. The work is expected to last about a week.
