BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 84-year old Danis Lingren of Boone, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Boone, Iowa. Following her wishes, Danis’ body has been cremated. Burial of her cremated remains will be held in the Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone, Iowa.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Visitation continues Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Danis, memorials may be directed to Suncrest Hospice, the Youth Group of First United Methodist Church or the Boone Memorial Park aka Babe Ruth Park for park improvements.
