Boone Mayor Dave Casotti talks about the Boone City Council meeting, Monday July 6th at the Boone City Hall. The Mayor talked about the Council failing to approve a contract with the Boone Area Humane Society. He also spoke about the presentation by Aaron Voss with U.S. Water, operators of both the Boone Water Works and Water Environment Plants. He addressed the issue of discolored water. Boone has not exceeded the threshold for nitrate levels for a number of years, but that also was brought up by residents. The Mayor also says he may put the Urban Chicken question back on the Council agenda for another vote.
