DMACC Board Swearing In Ceremony

ANKENY, Iowa—At the December 9th DMACC Board Meeting, DMACC Board of Trustees Chair Joe Pugel of Newton takes the oath of office as Chair of the nine-member Board of Trustees, while Kevin Halterman of Indianola takes the oath of office as Vice Chair. Pugel is from DMACC District 5 which encompasses Bondurant-Farrar, Colfax-Mingo, Lynnville-Sully, Newton, PCM, Pella and Southeast Polk School Districts. Pugel has served as a DMACC Board member for 27 years and as its Chair for more than 20 years.

Kevin Halterman lives in DMACC District 4, the portion lying within Carlisle, Earlham, Indianola, Interstate 35, Knoxville, Martensdale-St Marys, Melcher-Dallas, Norwalk, Pleasantville, Southeast Warren, Twin Cedars, Van Meter and Winterset School Districts. He has served as a Board member since 2002 and as Vice Chair since 2008.

In addition, Carolyn Farlow was appointed again as Board Secretary. She has served in that role for 20 years. Finally, Bill LaTour, DMACC’s Vice President of Operations was appointed Board Treasurer.
