BOONE, Iowa—Dr. Julie Trepa talks about the recent Boone School Board meeting and some of the business addressed by the Board. Action was taken to move ahead with the Core Knowledge Language Arts Program over the Benchmark Program. Both were trialed to determine which would be used at the elementary level for reading and writing. She also talked about the Board decision to proceed with Racoon River Conference decision to try and expand to 10 teams, by inviting Pella and Van Meter.
