
DES MOINES, Iowa—This week’s Drought Monitor Map shows Abnormally Dry conditions expanded over much of Northern Iowa. A week ago, Abnormally Dry conditions covered over 22% of the state. Abnormally Dry conditions this week were reported over almost 41% of the state. Moderate Drought and Severe Drought remained unchanged and affected the northwest corner of the state.
Locally, Boone County continues to remain free of drought and Abnormally Dry conditions.
