DES MOINES, Iowa—The weekly Drought Monitor was released last week and showed only slight improvement in drought conditions for the state of Iowa. The weekly report was made available by the National Weather Service Thursday. Less than a percentage point improvement for the entire state was reported. Locally, Boone County remains at 100% Severe Drought.
