BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements are set for 81 year old Elaine Sargent of the Madrid Home in Madrid, Iowa and formerly of Boone, Iowa. She passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021. A private, family service will be held following visitation, Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and may be viewed on the Tribute Wall of Elaine’s obituary on the Schroeder-Reimers website. Burial will be held in the Squire Boone Cemetery in rural Boone, Iowa. Due to COVID-19, face masks will be required and social distancing will be in place.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Madrid Home Community, Madrid, Iowa.
