Eli Stines, Boone Mayor, talks about the Monday night Boone City Council Meeting. He reviews the Councils split decision to provide additional funds to the Boone Fire Department for the Part-Time Salaries budget line. He says the move will help provide additional personnel during busy call times rather than use call back of fulltime firefighters. The Council also approved a property exchange at the airport with the Iowa National Guard. The exchange will allow the Guard to expand facilities and address their growing programs and operations.
