The form welder is responsible for welding and assembling concrete pipe forms. The form welder helps in fabrication of cones, hoppers, riser forms, base forms, horizontal and vertical flares, and box culverts. Must have parts knowledge. Blueprint layout knowledge is helpful; training is available. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of shop experience. The boring mill operator will set up and machine parts on vertical boring mills with capacities up to 86″. The operator must be able to do general math without error and be familiar with tapes, micrometers, dial indicators, protractors and all other measuring equipment pertaining to the job.
