BOONE, Iowa—Garold “Gary” Anderson, age 88 of Boone, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Garold Robert Anderson was born on August 16, 1934 in Pilot Mound, the son of John and Lilian (Tilley) Anderson. He served in the Navy from 1952 to 1969.
Gary was united in marriage with Pamela Jo Wisecup-Firnhaber on September 8, 1973 in Boone.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife in 2018. He is survived by nephews and extended family members.
Per Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held at this time. Burial will be in Squire Boone Cemetery at a later date.
