OGDEN, Iowa—Former Ogden Mayor Dennis Good is the apparent winner in the special election to fill a vacant position on the Ogden City Council. The unofficial results from the Boone County Auditor’s Office Tuesday evening:
The vacancy was created when Margaret Liston stepped down after being elected Mayor last November. There were two years left on the unexpired term and the Ogden City Council elected to have a special election rather than fill the vacancy by appointment.
